Something not working?

Send a message here and you’ll usually have a reply within a day or two, from someone who works on the app itself.

Ask here

What you did, what you expected, what happened instead. One sentence is plenty.

Only used to reply. Leave it blank and the message still arrives, but there's no way to answer you.

Replies usually come within a day or two.

Try these first

Voice sorting doesn't hear me
  1. Check Settings → Taskrix on your iPhone and make sure both Microphone and Speech Recognition are allowed.
  2. Voice sorting needs Apple's on-device speech model for your language. Some languages and older devices don't have one — in that case the Yes and No buttons on screen do exactly the same job.
  3. It listens for about six seconds per question. “Yeah”, “yep”, “nope” and “nah” all work, as do “skip” and “stop”.

Nothing you say is recorded or sent anywhere — recognition happens entirely on your device.

My tasks aren't syncing between devices
  1. Both devices need to be signed into the same Apple Account, with iCloud Drive switched on.
  2. Open Settings → Your data in Taskrix. It shows what's really happening — “Syncing…”, “Last synced…”, or a warning if iCloud isn't reachable.
  3. If it says sync is on but hasn't started, close and reopen the app. The app decides at launch whether to sync, so the switch takes effect next time it opens.
  4. First sync on a new device can take a minute. An empty matrix for a moment is normal — you'll see “Getting your tasks from iCloud”.
I deleted a task by accident

It's still there. Deleted tasks wait 30 days in Settings → Recently Deleted. Swipe right on one to put it back exactly where it was.

After 30 days they're removed for good, on every device.

I subscribed to Pro but it's not unlocked

Pro is tied to your Apple Account, so it should unlock by itself. If it hasn't, open the paywall from Settings → Upgrade and tap Restore Purchase at the bottom.

If that doesn't work, check you're signed into the same Apple Account you subscribed with — a different account means a different subscription.

How do I cancel Pro?

On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Taskrix → Cancel Subscription. Apple handles subscriptions, so this can't be done from inside Taskrix.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep Pro until then. Nothing is deleted when it ends — your tasks, tags and full history stay exactly as they are, and the Pro features simply stop until you subscribe again.

What happens to my tasks if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Your tasks, tags, focus history and every recorded week stay exactly as they are, and keep syncing.

The Pro features stop — voice sorting, weekly intentions, insights across past weeks, extra tags, longer focus sessions — and start again the moment you resubscribe, with all your history intact. Cancelling doesn't cost you anything you've built.

The Do Now widget is blank
  1. The widget shows only tasks in Do Now — urgent and important. If that quadrant is empty, so is the widget, and it says “Nothing urgent”.
  2. Open the app once after installing or updating. The widget reads a database the app has to create first.
  3. It refreshes when you leave the app, so add a task and then go to the home screen rather than expecting it to update while you watch.
Siri says it can't help
  1. Open Taskrix at least once after installing. Siri phrases only register after a launch.
  2. Try “Capture in Taskrix” — the app name has to be in the phrase. Siri then asks what needs doing.
  3. If Siri offers you Notes instead, say the phrase with “capture” rather than “add” — “add” is a word Siri's own note-taking claims first.
  4. Every phrase Siri knows is listed in Settings → Siri & Shortcuts inside the app.
How do I get my data out?

Settings → Advanced → Export my data gives you a plain JSON file containing every task, focus session and recorded week. It's yours — readable in any text editor, and in a format nobody controls what you do with.

Can I turn off the usage analytics?

Yes, immediately: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage. What it does and doesn't send is described in full in the privacy policy.

Reporting from inside the app

Taskrix has a Send feedback option in Settings that fills in your app version and device automatically, which saves a round of questions. Use that when the problem is something you can reproduce on your phone.

Several features in the app exist because somebody reported something here first.
